At the end of this module, you will be able to:

• Identify and explain the main types of plate boundaries, their interactions at triple junctions, and their relationship to geological processes shaping continents.
• Assess the major geological processes involved in the formation of continents and their implications for human lives and development.
• Differentiate between natural and human-induced climate change, analyze global and local climate trends, and explore mitigation and adaptation strategies.
• Examine international climate agreements and Ethiopia’s Climate Resilient Green Economy strategy in the context of sustainable development and governance principles.
• Analyze population growth theories, evaluate the impact of population policies, and recommend strategies for balancing population growth with environmental resources and socioeconomic development.
• Explain the principles of good governance and address land management challenges in Ethiopia, emphasizing sustainable development goals and environmental health.
